Defining the Ambiguous, Then Giving It Form
"Waiting gets filed under frustration. But thin underneath it — faint, easy to miss, unmistakably there — is a flutter. The series takes that as its subject and builds it out of material."






Overview: Shimmering extra-fine silk organza for what's felt but never fully visible. A serene blue for the stretch of it, and the pain in the stretch. And white tulips — not after the blue but inside it, breaking through the azure sporadically. Which is how the flutter behaves. It doesn't wait its turn. It arrives while the frustration is still running, thin and irregular and easy to miss. Past that, the series stays open. What each viewer has been waiting for is theirs to bring.
